How does the chair get to you?
Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at workstatt when you order a product from us?
Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at workstatt when you order a product from us? Here, we're going to answer your questions and track the journey of your product, for example, a Steelcase Please, from the moment you click on the website to its arrival at your home or office.
First, Michaela Schad from customer service will thoroughly review your order to ensure that everything arrives exactly as you intended. "Wherever possible, we naturally accommodate our customers, and I personally address any comments, concerns, and requests regarding the order, " Michaela notes with a laugh. If everything is correct, the order is recorded and prepared for shipping.
Most workstatt products are stored at our logistics partner G.L.M in Weil am Rhein, where the delivery note with your order is also sent immediately. "The collaboration with G.L.M is a fantastic addition to workstatt and helps us set the highest standards, including when it comes to delivery," says Thorsten Grathwohl, Head of Logistics at workstatt.
"Assembling office chairs like the Please isn't easy, which is why we decided to do it for our customers before delivery," adds Thorsten. Therefore, like all chairs you buy from workstatt, the Steelcase Please is delivered fully assembled. To prevent damage during shipping, G.L.M packages it in a special chair box and provides it with a delivery note and shipping label. Often, the chair is picked up by the shipping company the same day.
Go! Logistics & Express, our shipping partner, will then contact you by phone within two days of receipt of payment and arrange a delivery date. Any requests you may have previously expressed will, of course, be taken into account.
A short time later your Steelcase Please will arrive!
